Dr. Conicella is an emergency medicine physician, and medical toxicology fellow. He previously served as chief resident at UMass, the residency representative for MACEP, and was given the SAEM Excellence in Emergency Medicine Award in 2015. He has published on cannabis hyperemesis syndrome, and is currently researching mobile applications for the measurement of psychomotor impairment. His areas of interest include the treatment of opioid abuse and addiction, cannabis hyperemesis syndrome, and ED flow.
